Lateesha Jeffrey
Founder and Director of Wave Of Change Consultancy
A Northern Territorian, I’m a proud Woolwonga and Kukatj woman, raised on Larrakia and Yolngu Land. I am a passionate advocate for education – particularly for young women – and the role empowering these young women plays in healing intergenerational trauma and strengthening communities. Which is why I established Wave of Change Consultancy Pty Ltd (2021) and founded the Lateral Empowerment Program (2022), as a way for me to influence meaningful waves of change to empower others.
As the mother of a young daughter, and coming from a large family of 6 siblings, I know the importance of having strong role models as we walk in two worlds.
I have extensive experience working in the community with a focus on building models for change that deliver great outcomes. From concept through to development, implementation and evaluation, I thrive on bringing new ideas and fresh energy to “unsolvable” problems. My vision is to influence generational change for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people through collaboration, consultation and empowerment.

CEO for Enterprise Learning Projects
What an amazing program to build women up to empower each other! You could feel the power and strength of every woman during the workshop rise up and by the end we were ready to take on the world as a collective, that was the beautiful thing about it. Lateesha was able to engage everyone by exposing her vulnerability and owning her story, very powerful.
